Terbimax is a brand of terbinafine, an allylamine with broad-spectrum fungal activity. It acts by inhibition of squalene epozidase in the fungal cell membrane. It is indicated for the treatment of dermatophyte infection of the toe and finger nails (onychomycosis), tinea infection of the scalp (tinea capitis),  athlete's foot and fungai infection in the skin of the genitals, inner thighs and buttocks (jock itch).
